Fawad Chaudhry, a former federal information minister, expressed regret Monday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif was wanted by courts in connection with corruption cases but chose to remain in Islamabad rather than appear in court.
He stated in a tweet that his bail application is still pending in court. “Had he been an ordinary citizen, his bail application would have been denied long ago,” he said.
He continued by stating that until and unless there is a uniform application of laws to both rich and poor, Pakistanis will never be able to form a nation.
