Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed stated on Friday that tomorrow (Saturday, April 2, 2022) will be a watershed moment in the country’s political history.
He stated that he intended to leave politics on Monday (April 4). “Only the Almighty Allah knows where I’ll be in a few days,” he speculated.
Rasheed described the opposition leaders as “thieves and thugs,” saying it was regrettable that they had all banded together against Prime Minister Imran Khan. “Even if we lose the no-trust motion, we will not give up,” the interior minister stated, adding, “Only men of character stand by their friends in difficult times.”
He also stated that he will remain steadfast in his support for the prime minister. “I can’t leave the prime minister alone,” he said emphatically.
