Dental treatment services see biggest increase in Pakistan.

Healthcare has become even more expensive across Pakistan, making treatment increasingly difficult for low-income groups, according to official data.

Health-related expenses rose by 0.99 percent in June alone, while the overall increase throughout the year stands at 12.63 percent.

Dental services saw the highest annual increase, with a 1.54 percent rise in June and a sharp 26.66 percent jump year on year.

Fees for medical tests increased by 1.52 percent in June and 6.99 percent over the year.

Medicine prices increased by 0.63 percent during June and recorded a 15.30 percent rise over the past year. Doctor consultation fees rose by 1.32 percent in June and by 12.80 percent annually.

Hospital charges rose by 1.27 percent during June and 8.30 percent annually.
