UAE ends visa requirements for these Pakistani passport holders.
In a significant development, Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have mutually agreed to eliminate the visa requirement for holders of official and diplomatic passports.
This decision was made during the 12th session of the Pakistan-UAE Ministerial Commission, where the two countries signed three major Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields, including trade, investment, banking, healthcare, education, and energy.

Speaking at the event, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar described the meeting—held after a 12-year gap—as highly productive and forward-looking.
He noted that the agreements signify a shared commitment to deepen institutional cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations.
Ishaq Dar further announced that an agreement on Artificial Intelligence and the digital economy was also reached, which is expected to open new avenues of economic collaboration between Pakistan and the UAE in the future.
