MQM-P leaders Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aminul Haq, Khawaja Izharul Hassan, and Amir Khan met with JUI president Fazlur Rehman and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif. The leaders of the opposition alliance submitted a plea to the government.
The government’s coalition partner for voting in favor of a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan in parliament’s lower chamber. Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed happiness after the meeting. In response to a query following the meeting, he replied, “We are satisfied with the meeting.”
Negotiations are proceeding, according to Shehbaz Sharif, to achieve the desired outcomes. Shehbaz insisted on addressing the issue of the allies’ decision-making delays with the allies.
Khawaja Saad Rafique, speaking to the media, said that the MQM has spoken about civil rights and that the opposition is ready to protect constitutional and fundamental rights. He alluded to the establishment of a national government.
According to MQM leader Aminul Haq, conversations are also taking place among allies, and the party has submitted three proposals to all parties. He emphasized the importance of protecting democratic traditions and maintaining peace. “The negotiation process will continue,” he stated.
