normal passport delivery reduced.
In riveting news for passport applicants, the wait for normal passport delivery has been significantly reduced.
Citizens will now receive their normal passports within just 20 days, ending the prolonged delays that had plagued the process for months.
This fast delivery time comes after the installation of new printing machines, alongside increased manpower and a 24-hour printing schedule.
Speaking to The Asian Mirror, Director of Immigration and Passports South Region Saeed Abbasi confirmed that the system overhaul had made it possible to deliver passports within the stipulated 20-day timeframe.
“For a long time, passport delivery was delayed for months, but thanks to these new developments, we are now able to provide passports on time,” Abbasi said.
In addition to the standard 20-day delivery, Abbasi highlighted the availability of expedited services.
