Maryam says CM Livestock Card will support 80,000 farmers across Punjab.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered the authorities concerned to initiate ‘Livestock Card’ at the earliest as 80,000 farmers across Punjab will benefit from the project.
Speaking to the Livestock officers and officials, CM Punjab said Livestock Card will be activated on 15 December 2024.
She added that Punjab’s farmers will be on the path of development and progress after the launch of this unprecedented project.
She said registration for the Chief Minister Livestock Card has started.
Chief Minister said through the CM Livestock Card, one can purchase ‘Wanda’, mineral mixture and silage from registered dealers.
She added that cattle farmers will be able to get an interest-free loan of Rs 27,000 per animal.
She said farmers will be able to get an interest-free loan of up to Rs 2 lakh 70 thousand for their cattle.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister in a message on International Day for Preventing Exploitation of Environment in War and Armed Conflict said that war and conflicts cause a loss of not only human lives but also of the precious environment.
She added that in Gaza and other areas, not only people, but the environment are being destroyed by the war.
On the other hand, Chief Minister also congratulated Donald Trump for winning the US Presidential election again.
She while congratulating the American nation on Donald Trump being elected as the President of USA expressed hope for further improvement in Pakistan-US relations.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif also congratulated national snooker star Muhammad Asif on becoming world snooker champion for the third time.
She expressed good wishes for snooker champion Muhammad Asif. She said that Muhammad Asif by becoming World Snooker Champion for the third time elevated pride of the entire nation.
