The Punjab School Education Department has advised all private schools in Punjab to begin their new academic session on August 1.
On Saturday, the Punjab School Education Department issued a statement requiring all private schools in the province, including Lahore, to hold their annual examinations in May and to begin their academic year on August 1st.
All of Punjab’s district education authorities have been told to obey the instructions in this regard.
The education department would take action against schools that would violate the rule.
