Foreign Office issues new travel warnings for 20 countries including Dubai.

The Foreign Office has issued its travel advice for 20 countries due to an escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.

The warnings were issued on 26 October after Israel conducted military strikes against Iran.

The Foreign Office indicated that there is a risk that the hostilities could increase further, and with little warning in some destinations.

In an update to its advice for holiday hotspots, including Cyprus, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia and Oman and the UAE including Dubai, it said ongoing hostilities between Israel and Lebanon ‘could escalate quickly and pose risks for the wider region’.
