Maria B. donates Rs10 million to support people of Gaza.
Renowned Pakistani fashion designer Maria B who is continuously raising his voice for the Palestinians, has donated Rs 10 million from her Falasteen collection to Al Abrar Wells, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing clean water, food, and humanitarian aid to areas affected by conflict.
Maria B met her promise through this contribution in the first phase to support the people of Palestine in this devastating condition in Gaza.
Funds distribution
The funds will be utilized to construct a water well, ensuring access to clean drinking water for the community.
Moreover, the donation will support various initiatives aimed at providing essential resources.
Falasteen collection
The Falasteen collection was launched specifically to raise funds for Gaza relief, showcasing Maria B.’s dedication to social responsibility and support for marginalized communities.
Taking to her Instagram handle, she shared a video of herself in which she expressed her satisfaction over donating a huge amount to the Gaza people.
Sharing the video she wrote, “We kept our promise! Maria B. donates PKR 1 crore from the F@lasteen collection to Al Abrar Wells for G@7@. This first tranche will build one water well, feed 15,000 people with hot meals, and provide fresh bread to our brothers and sisters in North and Central G@7@.”
As Maria B. donates Rs10 million to support people of Gaza, she has been very vocal about the matter from the beginning and boycotts the products made by Israel.
