PPP march to reach Rawat today

The Awami March, led by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and now in its ninth day, has arrived in Wazirabad, from where it will travel to Rawat on Monday.

Bilawal will give a speech to the marchers at Gujrat and Lala Musa. He would then speak to the jialas of Jhelum and Gujar Khan. The participants in the Awami March would spend the night at Rawat. The organizers of the PPP Rawat have set up a mock tent city there. Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar has put the finishing touches on the PPP’s long march preparations.

The Jialas in Wazirabad has mounted their cars to resume their march after breakfast.

Gujrat, Jhelum, and Lala Musa have also finished their preparations for the long march.

The PPP Chairman declared in a speech at Nasir Bagh in Lahore on Sunday that Prime Minister Khan would escape London but that he would stay with the people of Pakistan.

Bilawal told party workers in Lahore’s Nasir Bagh that this was just the beginning and that he planned to play long innings.

“In the country, we want free and fair elections.” Imran Khan, the ‘puppet,’ must be deposed in order to achieve this. “Transparent elections cannot be held in his presence,” he stated.

“We shall begin a ‘democratic offensive’ against Islamabad’s ‘undemocratic’ regime.” Then we’ll implement election reforms and hold free and fair elections throughout the country,” he added.
