The Jehangir Khan Tareen (JKT) group will have a meeting in Lahore today (Monday) to assess the present political scenario in the country and the opposition’s no-confidence motion against the prime minister.

The meeting is expected to take place at Jehangir Khan Tareen’s home, with Jehangir Khan Tareen participating via video link from London.

Abdul Aleem Khan, the leader of the Pakistan People’s Party, is expected to attend the gathering. Before the opposition’s no-trust maneuver, the meeting would explore contacting other estranged PTI members.

Members of the organization will discuss their strategy for opposing Prime Minister Imran Khan’s no-confidence motion.

They will also reassess their policy for reestablishing contact with more PTI parliamentarians who have fallen out of favor.

They’ll also provide recommendations for their political approach in Punjab and at the national level.
