PTI founder Imran Khan has said that General Faiz Hameed, former ISI chief, was an asset who was wasted, reported The Asian Mirror.
Khan said this while talking to journalists in Adia Jail Rawalpindi.
Imran Khan maintained that the arrest of Faiz Hameed was the internal matter of Pakistan Army and he was not concerned with it.
He said, “Holding Gen Faiz Hameed accountable is a good thing, but then everyone should be held accountable”.
Imran Khan said that according to IB reports, Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmed Khan used to hold meetings with General Bajwa for a long time.
The former Prime Minister said that General Bajwa removed General Faiz Hameed as DG ISI on the request of Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif.
Imran Khan said he had altercation with General Bajwa when he was removing General Faiz as ISI chief.
PTI founder said that Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has supported his point of view.

Imran Khan claimed that the government would violate the constitution for a third term if it did not act on SC’s judgment on the case of the reserved seats.
Imran Khan said he was preparing his party response about the government’s intention regarding the violation of the constitution in the reserved seats case order.
