Peshawar witnesses 48% decline in crime rate.
Police have successfully dismantled 94 gangs involved in heinous activities and apprehended 119 dangerous criminals, many of whom were injured during confrontations with law enforcement.
This significant achievement is part of a targeted operation aimed at combating street crimes across the district, as reported by The Asian Mirror.
SSP Operations Kashif Zulfiqar revealed on Wednesday that the sustained effort has led to the recovery of substantial stolen property, including 130 mobile phones, 34 motorcycles, and 5 cars.

In addition, a considerable cache of weapons used in various crimes has been seized.

“The safety of our citizens cannot be compromised,” SSP Zulfiqar emphasized, assuring that all available resources are being deployed to protect the lives and property of the public.

This year has seen a remarkable 48 percent decline in street crimes compared to last year.
The concerted efforts have led to the arrest of 250 criminals and the recovery of over Rs. 13.7 million in stolen property, 181 mobile phones, 38 motorcycles, 12 cars, and 6 rickshaws.
