Buffett urged young people to pursue jobs they are passionate about, even if achieving such roles might take time.
“Find the job that you would like to have if you didn’t need a job,” he said, emphasizing the importance of aligning one’s work with personal interests and passions.
The 93-year-old billionaire also highlighted the critical role of communication skills in professional success.

In an interview with CNBC, Buffett explained that enhancing communication abilities can significantly boost earning potential and positively impact many aspects of life.
“It’s a modest improvement that can make a major difference in your future earning power, as well as in many other aspects of your life,” he stated.
Buffett emphasized the necessity of being able to convey ideas effectively and inspire others to follow them.
Reflecting on his own experiences, he revealed his early struggles with public speaking.
“Up until about the age of 20, just the thought of [public speaking] made me physically ill. I selected courses in college where I didn’t have to stand up in front of the class. If I somehow did, I could hardly say my own name,” he confessed.
A turning point came when Buffett enrolled in a public speaking course, which cost him merely $100. This course, he said, transformed his life.

“I knew if I did not speak in front of people quickly, I would lapse back to where I’d started,” Buffett recalled. “I just kept doing it… The impact that the class had on my life was huge.”
