Punjab Anti-Corruption arrests Imran Riaz Khan. Pakistani television personality and prominent YouTuber, Imran Riaz Khan, found himself in the spotlight once again as he was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab, according to statements made by his legal representative, Mian Ali Ashfaq.
Despite ongoing Twitter outages in Pakistan, Ashfaq took to the platform to confirm Khan’s arrest, stating that his client had prior knowledge of the ACE’s intentions.
“I know the location where Imran Riaz has been kept. It is the seventh round in two years. May Allah protect the secrets of all,” Ashfaq remarked.

Khan, known for his controversial political commentary and often being at odds with powerful entities in the country, was reportedly taken into custody from his residence in Lahore during the early hours of Friday.
Video footage capturing Khan’s arrest has surfaced on various social media platforms, further amplifying the news of his detainment.
As Punjab Anti-Corruption arrests Imran Riaz Khan, this isn’t the first time Imran Riaz Khan has faced such circumstances.
In a similar incident last September, the journalist was held in custody for over four months before eventually returning home unharmed.
Imran Riaz Khan is a Pakistani journalist, anchor and YouTuber. On 11 May 2023, Khan was reported to have been arrested by police while travelling in Pakistan.
Media reports suggested that Imran’s abduction may have been connected to him speaking out against the government and military.
