NADRA’s senior officer has been kidnapped in Islamabad.

A senior official affiliated with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has reportedly fallen victim to an alleged kidnapping in the federal capital.

The missing individual has been identified as Deputy Assistant Director Najeebullah, who, as per reports, departed from his residence in Islamabad last night en route to Peshawar, and has since vanished without a trace.

The concerning circumstances surrounding Najeebullah’s disappearance prompted his brother, Asadullah, to take immediate action by filing a detailed First Information Report (FIR) with the Ramna police station.

According to the complainant, Najeebullah left his residence during the night with the intention of traveling to Peshawar.

Asadullah subsequently received a distressing call from Najeebullah himself, revealing that he had been abducted by unidentified individuals.

In response to the filed FIR, law enforcement authorities have initiated a thorough investigation into the incident. Central to their efforts is the collection of crucial data pertaining to the phone call made by Najeebullah.

Concurrently, investigators are meticulously reviewing surveillance footage obtained from the city’s Safe City cameras in a bid to ascertain any leads regarding the current whereabouts of the NADRA official.

The urgency of the situation is underscored by the proactive measures being taken to swiftly locate and secure the missing official.
