Anthony Albanese expressed doubt about the efficacy of courses pursued by foreign students, highlighting concerns that some enroll in programs that offer minimal contributions to either their skillsets or the national interest.
Albanese asserted the imperative to rectify the existing system and announced imminent immigration reforms.
While the government has already outlined plans for increased housing and a substantial $120 billion infrastructure rollout, the finer details of the impending immigration changes will be disclosed in the upcoming week.
“We have a plan to fix migration by ensuring Australia can get the skilled workers that Australia needs, but putting an end to any abuse and any rorts,” stated the Prime Minister.
