Pakistani engineering firm NesPak secures the Neom project in Saudia. Acting Managing Director of the National Engineering Services Pakistan, Zargham Eshaq Khan, announced that NesPak had secured a substantial Neom project in Saudi Arabia, a first for any Pakistani company.
The Saudi Electric Company (SEC) awarded NesPak the project, which primarily focuses on the energy industry.
This achievement highlights the consultancy’s expanding influence and technical proficiency in the global engineering environment.
NesPak’s scope of work involves providing construction management services for Extra High Voltage (EHV), High Voltage (HV), and HVDC projects in various zones encompassing Neom Bay, Neom Mountain, and Neom Phase II.
As Pakistani engineering firm Nespak secures Neom project in Saudia, the project has a budget of 46.5 million Saudi Riyals, which is equal to Rs3.794 billion, and a three-year completion window.
The business said in a statement that NesPak’s success in landing the project was a credit to the technical brilliance and steadfast dedication of its personnel.
The Pakistani government founded the business in 1973 as a private limited corporation with the intention of building a talent pool of engineers, achieving self-reliance in engineering consultation, and displacing foreign consultants.
It currently employs more than 4,500 people overall.
According to NesPak’s website, the overall expected turnover for the fiscal year 2021–2022 was Rs. 8.5 billion, while the entire cumulative cost of the projects the company has undertaken is USD 330 billion.
