Though the training allows people to think about their decision, there is a disadvantage because these programmes are quite busy, and women may run out of time.

Meanwhile, there is no regulation in Hungary that explicitly prohibits abortion travel. Despite the high expense of travel, the ladies prefer to visit Austria.
Abortions at Austrian facilities cost between €500 and €600, excluding travel, whereas abortions in Hungary cost €100, according to Euronews.
In other circumstances, women in Hungary were told they had to wait a month for an abortion, forcing them to look into alternatives in Austria.
Despite the country’s significant scarcity of doctors, which results in long waiting lists and forces women to go to Austria, only surgical abortions are permitted in Hungary.
