Prime Minister Imran Khan remarked on Saturday that the Narendra Modi-led government’s fascist tactics in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have failed to “kill the spirit of Kashmiri resistance” (IIOJK).
On the occasion of Kashmir Day, Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted that Pakistan was united with its “Kashmiri brothers and sisters” and was committed to the “legitimate” Kashmiri fight for independence.
Pakistan stands united with our Kashmiri brothers & sisters and committed to their legitimate struggle for self-determination. Modi’s fascist policies of oppression & violence have failed to crush the spirit of the Kashmiri resistance in IIOJK.

The prime minister urged the international community to pay attention to serious human rights violations in the occupied valley, claiming that India had committed “crimes against humanity, war crimes, and genocidal acts” in Kashmir, as well as perpetuating the “threat of forced demographic change,” all in violation of the Geneva Conventions.
It is time the world takes notice of India's grave human rights violations in IIOJK which include crimes against humanity, war crimes & genocidal acts as well as the threat of forced demographic change. All these are in complete violation of the Geneva Conventions.

PM Imran emphasised that an impartial plebiscite in Kashmir was the obligation of the international community.
It is the international community's responsibility to ensure an impartial plebiscite in Kashmir. The world must not ignore the plight of the people of IIOJK and their undeniable desire to free themselves from the Indian state's draconian military occupation.

“The world must not overlook the people of IIOJK’s struggle and their evident desire to be free of India’s barbaric military rule,” he stated.
President Dr Arif Alvi reiterated Pakistan’s support for Kashmiris on Friday, saying that the entire country was behind them.
“We are confident that the Kashmiris will succeed in their brave fight for independence from oppression and illegitimate occupation,” he said.
Over 900,000 Indian occupation personnel had converted IIOJK into an open prison, according to the head of state. “Extrajudicial executions, arbitrary detentions, staged encounters, and search operations were all used by India against Kashmiris.”
“For more than seven decades, IIOJK has been a battle of hope against overwhelming odds, of courage against fear, and of sacrifice against tyranny,” he continued, “but through it all, the Kashmiri people have persisted and stood firm in the face of an ongoing Indian campaign of brutalisation that has used every inhuman tactic and draconian laws to perpetuate the illegal occupation IIOJK.”
On Saturday, Kashmiris from all over the world, including Pakistan, will commemorate Kashmir Day to show solidarity with the people of IIOJK.
Banners, banners, and flags have been displayed on city main streets and squares, depicting Indian atrocities in the IIOJK, Kashmiri sacrifices, and Pakistani expressions of solidarity.
On the occasion, conferences, seminars, and rallies have been held in Islamabad.
