In a tweet on Wednesday, PTI leader Dr. Shehbaz Gill stated he spoke with a very senior journalist friend who told him that “Imran Riaz is fine and doing well.”
Imran Riaz has been kept in a better place, according to Gill, and the reason for not releasing him was to keep his voice quiet; he will be released soon.
Shahbaz Gill praised Imran Riaz’s lawyer and wrote that “here it would be wrong if the hard work and commitment of his lawyer Mian Ali Ashfaq is not appreciated, he acted consciously, not enthusiastically.”
The PTI leader also wrote that “those who kept spreading rumors about Imran Riaz will prove to be liars.”

He hoped Imran Riaz would be released shortly.
Imran Riaz, a Pakistani journalist, and political analyst, has been missing since his arrest on May 11, and neither his family nor the police claims to know where he is.
The LHC has repeatedly ordered the TV show host to appear in court, but he has never appeared, and the deadline has been extended.
Earlier today, the Lahore High Court ordered the police to search for missing anchor Imran Riaz Khan till July 25.
