Latif Khosa remains unharmed in a gun attack at his Lahore house. Former Punjab governor Latif Khosa’s driver was injured late Thursday when unknown gunmen attacked his house in the Punjab capital.

The senior politician, who escaped the attack unscathed, confirmed the news, saying that the attackers managed to flee the scene.

As Latif Khosa remains unharmed in a gun attack at his Lahore house, Khosa stated that he was hearing a client’s case at his home when his driver entered and informed him that he had been shot in the gun attack.

He claimed that Kalashnikovs were fired at his home. Such tactics, he said, would not deter him from supporting the chief justice.

In the meantime, police have launched an investigation into the incident. According to preliminary findings, seven shots were fired at the senior jurist’s home.

A senior police officer told the media that the case was being investigated from various angles and that CCTV footage would be examined as well.
