Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, and his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez have become engaged.
Currently in France for the Cannes Film Festival, the couple has been partying with A-list celebrities.
According to Page Six, rumors about the couple’s impending nuptials have been circulating for months. The main cause of the rumors is the large heart-shaped ring Sanchez allegedly wore.
In 2018, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez, a former broadcast journalist, began dating and now they are engaged.
After their relationship became public in 2019, they remained under the radar until his divorce from his wife of 25 years, MacKenzie Scott, was finalized, according to Page Six.
Bezos and MacKenzie are parents to four kids.
According to Page Six, MacKenzie received a divorce settlement worth $38 billion and donated half to charity. With 25% of the ex-couples Amazon joint stock as a result of the settlement, she became the third-richest woman in the world, though Bezos retained voting control over her nearly 20 million shares.
Sanchez, on the other hand, declared in November 2022 that she plans to travel to space like Blue Origin’s founder.
She predicted that the female crew for the trip would be excellent.
She had two children, Ella and Evan, with Patrick Whitesell, whom she had previously been married to. According to Page Six, she also has a son named Nikko, who is 22 years old, with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez.
