ISLAMABAD: On January 24 (Monday), the Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif app will be released to commemorate the United Nations World Education Day, which is marked yearly to promote “Education for All.”
Ehsaas is introducing the Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif app on World Education Day 2022 to make it easier for Ehsaas recipients to enrol their children in the Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif (School stipends) programme. Google Play Store is where you can get the Android app.
“Our government’s top objective is to promote universal education. Families may enrol their children in the Taleemi Wazaif app of Ehsaas without having to go to an office. This historic measure will also benefit the poorest households by saving them time and money.” Senator Dr. Sania Nishtar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, stated in a press statement.
After three years of hard effort and many inputs, the Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif initiative has been set up for statewide implementation. The program’s ultimate goal is to support the education of 10 million children across the country’s Tehsils. Ehsaas school stipends are available to children aged 4 to 22 years old from all Ehsaas qualified families. This initiative provides stipends to children in elementary, intermediate, and upper secondary schools in order to boost their educational opportunities. Girls get a greater stipend across all age categories, in accordance with the Ehsaas’ policy of weighted-in-favour-of-girls stipends for all conditional cash transfer programmes.
Boys in primary education earn Rs. 1,500 every quarter, while girls receive Rs. 2,000; boys in secondary school receive Rs. 2,500, while girls receive Rs. 3,000; and boys in upper secondary school receive Rs. 3,500, while females receive Rs. 4,000. Over 6.7 million youngsters have been registered in the programme to date.
