In the midst of the ongoing controversy over audio leaks of the country’s senior judges, the country’s former top judge Justice Saqib Nisar is the latest victim of an alleged data breach.
Former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar claimed that his WhatsApp account was hacked and that it has yet to be recovered.
According to local media reports quoting the former judge, those who hacked his WhatsApp will only regret it. Nisar, who is well-known for his judicial activism, has hinted that his WhatsApp account will most likely be used for propaganda purposes.
Recalling his previous audio leaks, Saqib Nisar said he earlier falls victim to the data breach and his audio clips were tweaked with mal-intent.
He also pokes fun at former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, whose daughter continues to accuse him in fiery speeches. According to a former judge of the country’s highest court, those (PML-N leaders) who have been attacking the judiciary recently were once the ‘favorite’ of the same judiciary, adding that the deposed premier always received relief from the courts.
The latest development comes just days after JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman accused Saqib Nisar and Lieutenant General (r) Faiz Hameed of lobbying for PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
