A clip of renowned American linguist and intellectual Professor Noam Chomsky is circulating on Twitter, probably from an interview, in which he is praising Chairman PTI Imran Khan for his devotion and dedication to the progress of Pakistan.

“If Imran Khan were running, I would take time to vote for him,” said Chomsky.

He further lashed out at other Pakistani politicians for playing with the national interests and ruining Pakistan’s economy.

“But I don’t know of any other political figure who seems to be worth devoting much political energy and effort. My general impression is he was making an effort to do some fairly decent things. There were possible criticisms. I don’t think anything happened that justified expulsion from the political system,” Chomsky added.
