“Economy jae bhaad main”: PM Shehbaz appoints five more special assistants

The work ahead is 'difficult' but not 'impossible', says Shehbaz Sharif in victory speech

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed five more special assistants (SAPMs) taking the number of cabinet members to 83 on Wednesday.

All five special assistants to the prime minister will enjoy the status of minister of state. New SAPMs have not been assigned any portfolio. They will work on an honorary basis without getting any salary. The actual number of SAPMs included in the federal cabinet has now swelled to 38.

Those who have been appointed as SAPMs include Member National Assembly Rao Ajmal, Shaista Pervaiz, Qaisar Ahmad Sheikh, Muhammad Hamid Hameed, and Malik Sohail Khan.

Now, the federal cabinet comprises 34 federal ministers, 7 ministers of state, and 4 advisors.
