The winter break has been extended in Punjabi educational institutions.
On January 9, all public and private institutions will reopen. Following the Lahore High Court’s directives to prevent pollution concerns, the Punjab Schools Education Department announced an extension of the winter break.
The notification was issued by the Punjab Schools Education Secretary, who also forwarded a copy to the impacted areas.
Additionally, Punjab University has extended its winter break. However, office staff will still be present over the holidays.
The exams may be rescheduled by the department heads.
