The actress and her husband were unharmed. They were travelling to a studio. Shots were fired during a road rage incident on Monday, but the actor Denise Richards was uninjured, according to a spokeswoman. When a passing driver started shooting, Richards and her husband, Aaron, were travelling to a film and TV studio in a pickup truck. Aaron had slowed down as they looked for street parking.
TMZ broke the news about the incident first. A Richards representative named Jill Fritzo affirmed the information. Nobody was hurt. According to TMZ, someone at the studio noticed gunshot damage on the Ford Shelby F-150 truck and alerted the police.
It was unclear if anyone visited the location to gather information. The Los Angeles Police Department, which has authority over the studio’s neighbourhood, stated that it was unaware of any such claim and that there was no active investigation.
Officer Melissa Podany added, “We don’t even know where it happened at this point.”
A representative for the California Highway Patrol, which response to 911 calls on freeways and frequently in their vicinity, said he could not locate any documentation of such a claim. The same was stated by a representative of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, whose deputies frequently travel through the region because they patrol neighbouring jurisdictions, such as train and bus lines used for public transportation.
