Strong earthquake hit Delhi, Nepal
Around 2 am, after a 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit Delhi, Delhi also experienced strong tremors.
There were also severe earthquakes that lasted for around 10 seconds in the nearby cities of Gurugram and Noida.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake was around 10 kilometres deep.

Within the last five hours, Nepal has experienced a second earthquake. At 8:52 p.m. on Wednesday, a 4.9-magnitude earthquake was reported in Nepal.
Many people in Delhi left their homes in the middle of the night in search of safety due to the intensity of the tremors.

Within one hour or half of the earthquake, t#earthquake started trending on Twitter. Twitter flooded with more than 20,000 tweets. Some tweeted to say they’ve never felt this strong an earthquake.
