Germany offers maritime support to Lebanon’s army.
The Lebanese army will get assistance from Germany, according to German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht, in the areas of maritime surveillance and training.
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency, Lambrecht made the declaration on Sunday while in Lebanon to follow up on her nation’s naval force that is cooperating with UNIFIL.
By offering specialist radar technology and training to operate it, which is equally crucial to safeguarding patrol boats, we are committed to strengthening the maritime radar system, the spokesperson said.
