Samina Shah, the wife of renowned journalist Ayaz Amir and the mother of Shahnawaz Amir, the primary suspect in the murder of Ayaz Amir’s wife Sara Inam, was detained by police on Wednesday after the court in Islamabad revoked her bail.
Additional Sessions Judge Sheikh Sohail rejected her bail application.
In September, Shahnawaz used a dumbbell to kill Sara at his Chak Shehzad home in Islamabad.
People were outraged by the occurrence and demanded that justice be served to Sara, who had travelled from Canada to Pakistan to be with her husband.
