Fawad Chaudhry, senior vice president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central, said the country once again demonstrated Imran Khan as the center of its expectations after some positive results on 11 seats in by-elections.
The PTI central leader said in a tweet on Sunday night that party Chairman Imran Khan, the primary candidate in the by-elections, has a commanding lead in every seat.
He urged the government and establishment to respect the will of the people in light of the encouraging results and to declare general elections for the nation right away.
He emphasized in his tweet the leadership’s and party’s position that they are prepared to speak with the government over the election framework.
