Major power break down in areas of Sindh
A massive power breakdown hit Karachi on Thursday, after a fault in K-Electric’s extra-high voltage extension led to power outages in various areas of the metropolis.
Half of the national grid according to reports have got paralyzed due to some grid fault and cascade tripping of power generating units.
According to the sources of The Asian Mirror, fault in transmission lines have been observed which have left several areas of Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab without electricity.

The major breakdown has been reported in Karachi. The major fault has been detected in the national grid of southern system. However, the other reasons are unknown so far.
