A Police Official of Gul Imam Police Station reported that, unknown armed suspects ambushed on a convoy of Tehsil Mayor Tank Saddam Khan near the village Pai
As a result of ambushed, a heavy exchange of fire took place between the assailants and Police personnel who were along with the Tehsil Mayor
During exchange of fire, 4 policeman embraced martyrdom while two policemen sustained critical injuries
According to eyewitnesses, the exchange of firing between the suspects and police remain for many time and after that the accused manges to escape and fled.towards the west side
Heavy Contingents of Police and people of Pai village (Chigha Party) went to the spot and were chasing the accused
The injured and slain police personnel were rushed to the Hospital
The martyred police personnel were identified as Hawaldar Imran, Hawaldar Barkat, Constable Rafi Ullah and Constable Fazal ur Rahman while the injured were identified as Mumtaz Ali and Muhammad Gul
Tehsil Mayor Saddam Khan was coming towards Tank City from flood-hit Pai village after visiting the flood affected area
