Today (Saturday), Karachi had its coldest morning of the winter season, with a westerly wind system battering the city, dropping the temperature to 10.5 degrees Celsius.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the city will experience cold and dry weather over the next 24 hours (PMD).
According to PMD spokeswoman Sardar Sarfaraz, the humidity on the morning of December 11, 2021 was 49 percent.
According to AccuWeather, cloud cover was 60% in the morning on December 11 and will be partly cloudy with a 24% cover in the afternoon.
Furthermore, the temperature is forecast to remain between 12 and 13 degrees Celsius all night.
Although the weather pattern is likely to generate chilly and dry spells with temperatures ranging from 7 to 9 degrees Celsius in the coming weeks, the chances of winter rain and precipitation have practically vanished as the cold winds accelerate.
