Donald Trump calls PM Modi “A Great Guy”

New Jersey: The last American President, Donald Trump, recently gave an interview to one of India’s top news agencies, NDTV. The former president talked about how he saw the Modi government closely & there was no other better friend for India than him. He referred to his tenure & while he was talking about his presidential time, Mr. Trump also hinted at the chance of him running again for the second in 2024.

“I am seeing everyone wanting me to run again & I am leading in the polls. Now, I am giving it a thought & might make a decision soon,” added the former president.

The interviewer also asked him if he had a better relationship with India than other American presidents in the past. To which Mr. Trump replied; “PM Modi can only answer this but I personally think You’ve never had a better relationship with anyone than you had with President Trump.”

The former president then went on to talk about how he enjoyed the exceedingly exceptional support he got from India. “Not only from PM Modi or his government but the entire Indian Community”, added Mr. Trump. “PM Modi’s job isn’t easy yet he is great & doing a terrific job. We have been friends & I have had a great relationship with him over the years.”

Donald Trump was also asked about how he sees at American & Indian future. To which the former president replied; “America is going to be energy independent soon. Our economy will be soaring which we don’t have right now. We sure will talk bounce back & make the bold decisions that the US hasn’t been making. For India, I think they’re doing great under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi”, added he.

To put it simply, Donald Trump termed his relationship with India the best he formed during his tenure. The interview, however, was taken in an exclusive golf club in New York.
