Pak army establishes relief camps in Lahore

Pakistani troops set up relief camps in Lahore. According to ISPR, the Pakistan Army established 17 assistance camps for flood victims in Lahore Division on Monday.

According to the army’s public relations department, under the leadership of Corps Commander Lahore Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz, the Pakistan Army and Punjab Rangers have created relief camps for flood victims at 17 different places throughout the Lahore division.

Fortress Stadium, Saddar, Walton, Johar Town, Greater Iqbal Park, Badian Road, Defence Housing Society, Liberty, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Chunian have all set up relief camps.

People are contributing food, medicines, clothing, potable water, mosquito nets, and other supplies to flood victims. The Inter-Services Public Relations has urged people to donate generously to flood victims.

Separately, the Pakistan Army has established a flood relief donation account following government approval to assist flood victims, according to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR).

According to the ISPR, the account’s title is “Army Relief for Flood Affectees,” Askari Bank GHQ Branch, and the account number is 00280100620583.

“The Pakistan Army has created 212 relief collecting centers around the country, including 81 in Sindh, 73 in Punjab, 41 in Balochistan, and 17 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” they stated.
