Chinese enterprises donate Rs. 15 million to PM’s Flood Relief Fund
According to Gwadar Pro, the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises’ Association (APCEA) has donated PKR 15 million to the “Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund.”
The APCEA presented the cheque in a ceremony attended by Professor Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Planning Development and Special Initiatives (PD&SI), Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong, Chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Lt. Gen Akhtar Nawaz, and Minister Counsellor Xie Guoxiang.
As noted by the distinguished speakers, CSR’s slogan “Together through the rain; heading towards the rainbow” expresses the Chinese community’s determination to assist its Pakistani brethren.

Both countries have recently signed an agreement to collaborate on natural disasters.
The Ambassador also stated that China will provide a large number of tents and other relief equipment to help alleviate the current crisis and its associated suffering.
The Chinese government announced on Wednesday that it will provide a batch of emergency humanitarian supplies, including 25,000 tents and other supplies in desperate need, as well as USD 300,000 in emergency cash assistance to flood-affected Pakistanis.
