Prova Grid station has also been inundated in flood water causing power outages across the tehsil for an indefinite period. The breakers worth crores of rupees were burnt due to the flood water entering the grid station.

According to WAPDA officials, the power supply has been suspended across the tehsil due to the burning of the breakers, which may take several weeks to restore and if the power transformers are damaged, the residents of Prova Tehsil will be deprived of electricity for months.

Due to the flood devastation in Tehsil Prova, Daraban and merged Tribal Areas, the flood affectees were forced to migrate from their respective area to safer places as their houses and assets were destroyed due to flood.
