The Punjab government has decided to hire 16,000 teachers across the province, and a summary of the proposal has been sent to Chief Minister Parvez Elahi for approval.
Murad Raas, Punjab Education Minister, announced on Twitter that a summary to hire over 16,000 educators had been initiated, signed, and moved forward. “I thank Allah for giving us the opportunity to provide these opportunities for our youth,” he added.
After the chief minister approves the summary, the Punjab government will post an advertisement to hire educators.

The announcement came a day after Murad Raas announced on Twitter that the process to regularise 14,000 teachers had been initiated, signed, and progressed.
