Justice Mansoor Ali Shah has been appointed to the Pakistan Judicial Commission to replace Justice Sajjad Ali Shah.
He was nominated for the position following the retirement of Supreme Court Justice (r) Sajjad Ali Shah. On August 13, Justice (r) Sajjad reached the age of superannuation.
The JCP is a commission that appoints and elevates judges to the country’s Supreme Court and high courts.
The JCP is currently led by Pakistan’s Chief Justice, Umar Ata Bandial.
