Taslima Nasreen, a Bangladeshi author, has had numerous fatwas issued against her. She also expressed concern for her own safety after Salman Rushdie was stabbed on Friday as he prepared to give a lecture at the Chautauqua Institute in western New York.
Nasreen stated exclusively that, “It is not that they have forgotten about the Fatwa that was declared against me a long time ago. They won’t soon forget. If they have the chance, they will kill me”.
