Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has slammed anti-army “campaigners.”
“The army is our pride, and any propaganda against it can only be done by anti-state country enemies,” Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh said.
“The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is behind the propaganda, and its media cell is working on it,” says one source.

Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain stated a few days ago that the Pakistan Army has helped and served the nation in every calamity, trouble, and difficult time, and that the propaganda campaign against the institution is intolerable.
He stated in a statement that the army played an important role in the country and made sacrifices to restore law and order and put an end to terrorism.
He went on to say that the entire nation shared the grief and sorrow of the families of the Lasbela martyrs.
“Politicians should disregard expediency and show complete solidarity with the army,” the PML-Q leader said.
Everything, he said, is tolerable, but the propaganda campaign against the army is unacceptable and intolerable.
