Imran Khan, Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), renewed his call for the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) on Monday and organized a protest outside the Election Commission of Pakistan office on Thursday, August 4.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the party’s National Council meeting and claimed a two-thirds majority in the next general election.
Imran Khan told the PTI council that the CEC should quit since the Commission has done everything possible to make the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) project fail despite the fact that it will abolish 130 kinds of election manipulation.
Those who could have halted the international conspiracy against his government, according to Imran Khan, are also accountable for what is occurring in the country today.
Following the meeting, a journalist approached Imran Khan in an Islamabad hotel and inquired whether Arif Naqvi is his business partner. Imran Khan has stated that he will not respond to this question. Imran Khan’s security team also attempted to force journalists on this occasion.
