A PTI conference chaired by former Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved the resumption of public benefit programmes.
The meeting was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Moonis Elahi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Farrukh Habib, Dr. Sania Nishtar, Hashim Jawan Bakht, and Zain Qureshi, Fawad Chaudhry, Dr. Shahbaz Gul, and Asad Umar. Imran Khan announced the Punjab Ehsaas Ration Program.
In his address to the participants, the former prime minister slammed the PML-N-led coalition government for abandoning projects initiated by the previous rule.
The current federal government’s incompetence has left the people in the lurch, he claims, adding that people have been facing serious problems for the past three months.
However, the former prime minister emphasized resolving public complaints and resuming stalled initiatives in order to bring maximum relief to the populace.
Dr. Sania Nishtar was tasked with launching the Punjab Ehsaas Ration Program. Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi said he will keep an eye on the projects’ progress.
In a televised public address yesterday, the former prime minister outlined his government’s accomplishments, claiming that Pakistan had the appropriate economic indicators when he was in power and that the country was on an upward trend.
However, the present administration ignored this fact and proceeded on a plundering spree that had little to do with public service.
