Mufti Muneeb, a well-known religious scholar and former head of the Ruet-i-Hilal committee, called the Kashmir committee a “drama” on Sunday.
In Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, the Mufti was giving a press conference at the main Awan-i-Sahafat.
He criticized the Narendra Modi administration for modifying Kashmir’s status in order to favor Hindus and change the region’s demographic makeup.
In his paper, he claimed to have attempted to describe the appalling circumstances of Muslims living in India.
The Pakistan Kashmir Committee was ridiculed by Mufti Muneeb for being a “drama.”
He questioned how Gandapur could bring the Kashmir issue to light.
According to him, the government must sincerely continue to address the Kashmir issue.
He regretted that before even going down at the negotiation table with Indian officials, former president General Pervez Musharraf displayed all of his cards.
Being a chairman for Kashmir committee, molana how many jalsas or raily do you conduct for peoples of Kashmir so far?
While getting into government you doing all this drama, be aware khan sb will never allow you.— Malik Bilal Sadiq (@bilalsadiq566) November 30, 2020
He claimed that country will reject any peace proposal that would damage Kashmir.
He insisted that the Pakistani leaders, who were at one other’s throats, offered him no hope.
He regretted that Christians were being persecuted in India in addition to Muslims.
He believed that the country’s economic situation was unstable and blamed the previous administration for it.
The current administration, according to Mufti Muneeb, is not sincere in its attempts to abolish the interest-based economy.
After including Ulema in the consultation process, he urged reaching a consensus on it.
He claimed that the Federal Shariat Court played no significant role, only serving as some people’s source of income.
