10 more coronavirus deaths reported in Pakistan, 336 new cases

According to data issued by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Monday morning, Pakistan recorded 10 more coronavirus deaths and 336 new cases in the last 24 hours (Sunday).

According to NCOC figures, the death toll has now risen to 28,777, representing a ratio of 2.2 percent, after the addition of 10 more dead.

After executing 42,944 tests, the positivity ratio of coronavirus cases in Pakistan has reached 0.78 percent, with 336 new coronavirus cases emerging in the last 24 hours. It brings the overall number of cases to 1,287,161.

There are 11,920 active cases across the country, with 862 people in critical condition.

In the last 24 hours, 858 additional instances were recovered, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 1,246,464 with a 96.8% recovery rate.

Punjab

Punjab, the country’s most populous province, has recorded 66 new cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of illnesses in the province to 443,519, with 4,334 active cases. Four more individuals died of coronavirus in Punjab, bringing the total number of deaths to 13,041. So far, 749 more people have recovered from the virus in Punjab, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 426,144.

Sindh

Sindh has registered 156 new cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of illnesses in the province to 476,830, with 6,393 active cases. The death toll in Sindh remained at 7,626 as no new cases of the deadly disease were reported. So far, 462,811 individuals in the province have recovered from the virus, with 40 additional recoveries.

KPK (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)

In the previous 24 hours, 67 additional cases have been reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, bringing the total number of patients to 180,383 with 743 active cases. The province announced four more virus-related deaths, bringing the total number of deaths to 5,862.

Balochistan

Balochistan added one new case, bringing the total number of cases to 33,507, with 48 active cases. As the death toll reached 360, the province reported no further deaths. So far, 33,099 individuals have recovered from the virus throughout the province, with 6 additional recoveries.

Islamabad
In the last 24 hours, Islamabad has registered 43 new cases, bringing the total to 107,930 with 363 active cases. The death toll now stands at 960, with two more deaths recorded in the Federal Capital. With 22 fresh recoveries, the total number of recovered patients in the federal capital now stands at 106,607 patients.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir 

In the previous 24 hours, three additional cases have been reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, bringing the total number of cases to 34,579, with 36 active cases. The death toll now stands at 742, with no fresh deaths reported. There were two fresh recoveries in the AJK, bringing the total number of individuals who have recovered from the virus to 33,801.

Gilgit-Baltistan

There were no new cases reported in Gilgit-Baltistan in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 10,413 with three active cases. The death toll in the province remains at 186, with no new deaths reported. There were no additional recoveries reported, bringing the total number of people who had recovered from the terrible disease to 10,224.
