Mian Nawaz Sharif, the leader of Pakistan’s Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), has asked his party’s Finance Minister, Miftah Ismail, to lower petrol prices in Pakistan.
Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif raised alarm about rising petroleum costs in Pakistan on Sunday.
He instructed his party’s federal finance minister to cut petrol prices by at least Rs15 per litre in order to bring immediate relief to the people.
Mian Nawaz Sharif also urged senior government officials to eliminate all obstacles to the return of former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
